FAQs

You may have questions. Here are some answers.

Where is it?

Beese will be at the Sterling Event Space. The address is 1261 Delaware St, Denver, CO 80204. It's in the Golden Triangle neighborhood of Denver.

How should I get there?

I highly recommend taking ride share (Uber/Lyft). I'm working on getting some ride share discount codes for guests, which I will share once you register and prior to the event. There is also public transportation nearby. I don't recommend driving if you will be drinking, but there is a public parking lot next to the venue.

What about my significant other/partner? Are they invited?

For sure. They need to register, though. For me and the pairing fairies to best match them with other guests we must know some stuff about them! So sorry, they can't just be your arm candy like usual. :)

Why do I have to register and think so hard about my answers?

Because the magic of Beese is the friend pairing part. It's super fun, trust me. But if you answer with basic, lame answers, your friend pairings won't be as tuned-in.

I hate parties. Do I have to talk to people?

I get it. Social events can be intimidating and weird sometimes. However, Beese is designed to remove all the normal dumb party vibes that make it hard for people to mingle. You can be introverty or extroverty and still have a fun time. But if you do need a moment to be solo at Beese, there's an upstairs lounge for guests to have a space to just be chill.

I prefer not to ingest (gluten, dairy, animal products). Will there be options for me?

Most definitely! Beese will have gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options so everyone can play. There will be helpful and informative signage, too.

What can I win with my raffle tickets?

Oh just you wait. There are many, many good prizes in the works that you can use your raffle tickets to try to win. There are gift cards for cool places around town, wine-of-the-month club subscriptions, customized pet quilts, cool brand swag and lots, lots more. You can see the prize book linked in the raffle section up above. Research what you aim to win as part of the raffle!

Will there be snacks?

Oh yes. We will have snacks around to nosh on with your pairings.

What is the Adaptive Climbers Festival?

It's a magical climbing festival for folks with disabilities. You can learn more about it on the ACF website.

Why are you making me come to this?

Because I've set a bunch of goals for this year and I want to invite a bunch of people along for the ride.

So we might as well snack and mingle while we do it.
